Sarah Palin’s reputation is being trashed. “Anonymous sources” are being interviewed about her ignorance, her spend-thrift buying sprees, and her overall unfitness for office. None of it is true, but simply an effort to pre-empt any return of Sarah to national politics. Neither the media nor liberals really need to know the truth. Otherwise they would not have supported the most unknown presidential candidate ever. Obama’s past is still mostly a blank.
America’s most popular governor could have stopped all the mud-slinging long ago. She could have favored killing babies who survive a botched abortion. She could have favored the disarming of law-abiding Americans, and she have cow-towed to the liberal media. Obama supported all of this, Sarah didn’t. There is a price to pay. I only hope she’s strong enough to brave the contempt of lesser people, and accept the mantle of leadership for Americans who still want honesty and morality in their leaders.
