My Tea Party Speech—April 15

 

It occurred to me that I can say what really needs to be said here.  I’m self-employed with nobody to fire me. My clients love America as much as I do. I am not running for office, and I’m well-insured against lawsuits.  So you’re going to get undiluted politically-incorrect truth.

 

Yesterday a friend gave me a report from Homeland Security telling the FBI that people who are unhappy with government spending, with the tens of millions of illegal aliens getting special rights and benefits from our tax dollars, with our tax code, and with the general dismantling of our country are dangerous.  I believe that includes most of you.  Strange, you don’t look dangerous!  But I pray to God you are!  Anyone who has read and believes in the US Constitution is dangerous nowadays.

 

The other day a lady told me she heard I was a big time Republican. Wrong.  I am a big time Constitutional Conservative.  I support other constitutional conservatives, whether they be Democrat or Republican, Christian or Jew.  With that in mind, I would even vote for Obama if he were a Constitutional Conservative -  and if I saw any verifiable documentation of his American citizenship.

 

Locally we saw that Thomas Perriello was funded with hundreds of thousands in out of state contributions.  Our last election was polluted by the money of atheist America-hater billionaire George Soros.  Perriello took the oath of office to represent Virginia’s 5th district on January 3, 2009. Forty-one days after taking the oath, on February 13, 2009, Mr. Perriello voted for a $787 billion “economic stimulus bill” without having read it.  The 5th district’s first congressman was James Madison, the acknowledged father of the Constitution. I offer a couple of Mr. Madison’s quotes which may shed some light on what’s really going on here:

 

“Crisis is the rallying cry of the tyrant.”

“The essence of Government is power; and power, lodged as it must be in human hands,

will ever be liable to abuse.”

 

We have voter-fraud in Minnesota, a billion or so from George Soros for liberal candidates, and a witch hunt in Alaska to oust Ted Stevens.  The charges against Stevens were dropped, but the liberal who took his place is still in office.

So we voted out Virgil Goode, a true Constitutional Conservative.  I’m only praying that in 2010, the people of the 5th District will understood the wretched thing they did, and return Goode to office. 

 

Much of the mess we have now was decades in the planning.  Our Forefathers gave us a perfect Constitution.  America’s social engineers have taken that away with one word: LIVING.  It’s a “living Constitution” and can be interpreted to suit the times.  And their whims.  That’s like trying to sail a ship by “living stars” that are not in the same place every night. Socialists have been in command of the ship for many years, and most Americans have no clue why we’re sailing into such strange waters.  It’s simple.  We, the people who know the Constitution haven’t taken it seriously.

 

When I was a little boy on the Caylor Family farm, I asked Daddy if I could have a bicycle. “Georgie, we don’t have the money for that bicycle now, and Caylor’s don’t borrow.  If crops are good, maybe later on we can get one for you.”

 

That was 65 years ago.  What I’m seeing now is a living nightmare for my parents and for me.  We’re in a new family now.  Our father Obama says to Congress, “May I have a billion dollars to fund overseas abortions and another trillion for corporate bailouts?”  And Congress is saying, “Yes, but we’ll have to borrow the money, and our grandchildren whom we haven’t aborted will pay it back.” “And may I have another trillion for National Healthcare?”  (Of course that would be mean Canadians can no longer come south for health care.)  And Obama asks, “How about another billion or so for illegal aliens who Nancy Pelosie said have just as much right to our money as Americans do?  I guess Nancy  believes that Barrack Obama has a right to citizens’ money?”  Or billions for foreign aid to countries who hate us in return?  Or billions to our Medicare Prescription Drug Plan that’s bankrupting us?

 

We are told that socialism works until you run out of other people’s money. Wrong.  We did that trillions of dollars ago, but we are still spending! Working Americans have been enslaved by a dysfunctional president working with the most dysfunctional liberal congress in history, voted in by people who haven’t a clue what a Democratic Republic is.  The working American has been enslaved by the non-working and his congressional representative.  The expenses of our welfare state have put millions out of work.  Those who haven’t contributed anything but liberal votes – and future liberal voters – are doing this.  Not only that, they have enslaved our children and grand children to repay trillions of dollars of debt.  China now owns so much of America’s debt that they won’t need to conquer us. They can simply call in their loans – and repossess. 

 

It’s been my observation that conservatives don’t do their homework. But tyranny is planned well.  Are liberals smarter?  No, but their passion has outweighed ours.  Also, liberals are NEVER discouraged, no matter how tragic the consequences.  We have a local and painful example.  According to FBI crime statistics, concealed permit holders are the safest crime-free people in the world. Two years ago we saw that it is morally superior to sacrifice 32 lives, rather than allow innocent students to be protected by incognito armed and qualified guardians.  It’s illegal to save lives on college campuses in Virginia, or in immigration offices in New York. 

 

The few success stories of stopping such carnage tell only of America’s concealed-permit armed sentries.  The same people who tell us that Americans may not defend themselves believe that welfare checks and food stamps should be used to qualify for mortgages.  And overseas abortions and corporate bailouts are a worthy use of borrowed money.

 

But we still have free speech.  And if all else fails, our forefathers in their wisdom wrote the 2nd Amendment.  Will those who love America be called upon, once again, to defend her from her enemies, both foreign and domestic?  Will it come to that? 

 

Maybe not.  I’m encouraged by this turnout.  We still have the right to vote in 2010, and evict a dysfunctional but dangerous Congress.  And when we do that, we will neutralize a dysfunctional but dangerous President.  We can do this.  We have no choice but to do this.

 

No more “business as usual.”  Let’s get to work repairing this broken nation. The next American Revolution begins here, and it begins with us.  Thanks for attending this Tea Party.  May God bless you, and may we be once again worthy of “God bless America.”
